Four toggle chips. At least one channel always stays on. The receipt after saving names them back in plain words ('via in-app + text'). Push is offered where the browser supports it.
Also called: reminder channels · text me · email me · push notification · in-app reminder
- 1The chosen channels save to tasks.remind_channels as an array.
- 2The reminders cron reads that array and turns exactly those channels on for this reminder; anything it does not name is off.
- 3Push rides its own transport (web push) rather than the notification dispatcher.
The cron carries the bug that made this real: “The composer offers In-app / Email / Text / Push and stores the choice on the task, but this cron never read it — so the org's event grid decided instead and choosing 'Email' here did nothing. The task's own choice governs.” Push had the same gap: 'Offered in the composer since it was built; never actually sent for tasks until now.'
- Channel choice on the task being silently overridden by org settings
- Push offered but never delivered
