A small autofill on the Start Project form. The customer already typed their property address after approving; the form reads it back rather than asking the builder to re-key it.
Also called: don't retype the address · property address · job site address
- 1The most recent completed intake form for the job is read for its property details.
- 2Line 1, line 2, city, state and zip are assembled into one address string.
- 3It only fills a BLANK field, so a hand-edited address is never overwritten.
The customer types their property address into the intake form right after approving, and the builder was then re-typing that same address into the job-site field one screen later. It now pre-fills from what the customer already entered, and only into a blank field, so it can never overwrite an address somebody corrected on purpose.
- Re-keying an address that's already in the system
