Two techniques used across the settings tabs: a per-panel cache that renders the previous values on mount, and loading skeletons that hold the shape of the content instead of flashing an empty state that reads as disconnected.
Also called: settings page is slow · shows nothing then fills in · loading flicker
- 1Panels read a cached payload and apply it, then fetch the live row and apply again, writing the fresh copy back to the cache.
- 2The Integrations status shows a checking skeleton with the line 'Checking your GoHighLevel connection…' while the status call is in flight.
- 3Caches are org-scoped and purged on any account change.
Two comments capture the complaint. Brand Center and Phone Numbers are marked cache-first as; the Integrations skeleton is annotated as fixing 'the it shows nothing then fills in complaint'. An empty credential form is not a neutral loading state — it reads as 'you are not connected'.
- Loading states were indistinguishable from empty or disconnected states.
