The delivery tab. A primary recipient plus any number of extras, each with name, email and phone. Delivery method is email, SMS or both. The estimate carries an expiration date, defaulting to 30 days. A free-text personal message rides along with the send.
Also called: send to both spouses · add another recipient · text the quote · quote expiry
- 1The primary recipient pre-fills from the bonded contact; extras are added inline.
- 2Delivery method is a three-way choice.
- 3The expiry defaults to 30 days out and past dates are disabled in the picker.
- 4Passwords are customer-voluntary only — the portal's identity gate is what gives viewer visibility, and a builder-set password is one more point of resistance.
A post-frame building is usually a two-person decision, and a quote that reaches only one of them stalls until somebody remembers to forward it. Estimates go to as many recipients as the decision needs, by email, text or both, with an expiry and a personal message. A builder-set password was tried and dropped: it is one more point of resistance for the customer, and asking viewers for their name and email at the door gives the builder better visibility than a password ever did.
- One-recipient sends stalling a two-person decision
- Quotes with no expiry being held against you months later
