A crew id must name a crew in this org

Every crew id claimed for a person is checked against the crews this org actually owns, and anything foreign is dropped rather than trusted.

What it is

The merge collects every crew id each store claims for a person, then validates all of them in one query against this org's crews. The person keeps whichever claim survives; unrecognised ids become null.

How it works
  1. 1claimCrew records each store's claim per person index rather than taking the first non-null.
  2. 2One query selects crews in this org matching any referenced id.
  3. 3Each person's crewId becomes the first claim that this org actually owns, else null.
Why we built it

A crew member vanished off his own crew's roster while his record sat there intact — it was pointing at a crew belonging to an entirely different company, left behind by an old import, and that stale value was beating the real one. Any crew reference that does not name a crew this company actually owns is dropped rather than trusted. One check, and a whole class of stale membership data becomes harmless instead of invisible.

The problem
  • Stale cross-tenant crew ids winning over correct local ones.
  • People silently missing from their own crew's roster.

What you get
Bad membership data becomes harmless instead of invisible.
One query protects every caller of the roster.
