A framer and a rep get different records

Field crew get hours, days, jobs and earnings; a sales rep gets leads, close rate and rank from the same leaderboard the Sales tab draws; office staff get an honest empty state.

What it is

The API returns a field block, no block, or nothing, and the UI draws what it gets. Sales figures are read from the existing leaderboard rather than recomputed.

Two dossiers side by side: a framer's hours-and-earnings block and a rep's leads/won/close-rate/rank block. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1isField is true when the person appears in crew_members.
  2. 2Non-field people return field:null and the client fetches the leaderboard for their line.
  3. 3A rep with no leaderboard row and an office user with no field hours both get a single explanatory sentence.
  4. 4Durations use the shared formatter the Sales tab uses.
Why we built it

A framer and a sales rep do not share a scorecard — hours, stages and payouts mean nothing for one, pipeline and response times mean nothing for the other — and rendering both for everybody turns a record into noise nobody reads. Each person's record shows the measures that fit the work they actually do. Sales figures come from the same leaderboard the company already reads rather than being recalculated here, because two versions of the same number is two answers and somebody will eventually find both.

The problem
  • One-size scorecards that are mostly empty.
  • Two implementations of the same sales metric disagreeing.

What you get
Each person's record answers the question their job actually raises.
Sales figures always match the Sales tab.
