A read-only strip of cards at the top of the schedule showing counter-signed estimates with no matching project, each card carrying the project name, customer, the signing date, and an accounting sync chip. Clicking a card navigates to the estimate where Start Project lives. Dismissible for the session.
Also called: signed but not started · forgot to start the project · contracts waiting
- 1Reads recent estimate links and screens for a counter-signature client-side
- 2Cross-references the project cache: an estimate counts as started when a cached project's design job id matches
- 3Re-pulls whenever the project cache changes so a started job leaves the strip immediately
- 4Mutates nothing — clicking only navigates
Creating a project is deliberately a decision somebody makes, not something that happens on its own — which means the failure mode is a signed contract sitting quietly in the system with nobody having started the work. Builders found out when the customer rang to ask when the crew was coming. Signed estimates with no job behind them are listed where the builder will see them, with the button to start the build right on them.

Twenty minutes, your numbers, no slide deck. We’ll build one of your real buildings in front of you and send you the estimate link at the end — yours to keep either way.
