The status route detects missing metadata — from an older connect run, a partially failed callback, or a hand-made row — fetches it, writes it back, invalidates the cache and re-reads so the response carries the freshly populated fields.
Also called: company name missing · connected as blank · plan tier
- 1Status is requested for the caller's account.
- 2Missing company name or plan tier triggers a one-time backfill call.
- 3The values are written, the cache invalidated, and credentials re-read.
- 4Subsequent calls serve from cache.
Written on the route as a deliberate self-healing behaviour: 'Lazy-fetch metadata if the connect callback never populated it (older connect runs, callback partial-fail, manual DB row, etc). Self-healing: backfills once, then subsequent calls hit the cache.'
- A partially failed connect left the UI with no company name and no way to fill it except reconnecting.
