A one-click preview writes nine sample reps across three tiers with roughly eighteen leads each, every lead walked through the full sales stage chain with realistic drop-off so stage dwell times, the funnel, the heatmap and rep scores all populate. Everything it writes is tagged so removal is exact and can never touch real data. Settings are not touched — routing is never silently switched on.
Also called: demo data · sample data · preview reports · empty dashboard · what does this look like when full
- 1Load writes tagged sample reps, leads and stage history under the caller's account
- 2Lead events are shaped to feed the exact metrics the reporting routes compute, including speed-to-lead on the first step
- 3Every row carries an identifiable demo tag or id prefix
- 4Remove deletes by those exact tags
An owner evaluating the reporting sees empty charts for his first two months, which tells him nothing about whether the reporting is worth having — and by the time he has enough history to judge it, he has stopped opening those screens. He can load a believable sample of several reps and a few hundred leads, walk the leaderboard, the analytics and the territory maps, then wipe it exactly. Everything written is tagged so removal can never touch a real record, and his settings are left alone: nothing gets quietly switched on in the name of a demo.
- New accounts cannot evaluate reporting they have no data for
- Sample data usually cannot be removed cleanly
