How it works
- 1DOC_TYPES are po, invoice, bol, packing_slip, photo, other
- 2The file uploads through /api/ghl-media and the returned URL is stored
- 3Each document row records order id, type, url, filename and uploaded_at
Why we built it
Migration 016 created documents as its own table alongside header, items and payments — the invoice, the BOL and the packing slip are the evidence behind a delivery dispute, and they are useless filed anywhere other than against the order.
The problem
- Delivery paperwork lives in a truck cab, a phone or an inbox
- A dispute with no paperwork attached
