A self-contained wizard that owns its own catalog load, so any caller can drop it in without wiring the fetch. Step one is a grid of starting models; step two sets dimensions, roof style, pitch, colours, doors and windows; step three reviews before creating. It performs the contact link after creation and hands the new job id back to whoever opened it.
Also called: start a quote · build estimate from a lead · pick a starting model
- 1Opening the wizard loads starting models, colours and the doors-and-windows catalog.
- 2Launched from a lead's opportunity, the customer fields pre-fill from that contact.
- 3Configure width, length, eave and ceiling height, roof style, pitch, and add doors and windows from the catalog.
- 4Creating the job round-trips the contact link, then the caller refreshes its own view.
- 5The component remounts on a genuine contact change so the fields re-seed from the new prefill.
Opening the new-estimate flow from a shared link produced an empty wizard reporting a catalog with nothing in it, because each way in loaded the catalog its own way and one of them didn't. The wizard now loads it once, whichever door you came in by: pick a starting model, configure the building, review — with the customer's details already filled in from the lead you started on.
- Customer details retyped between the lead and the estimate
- An empty wizard when opened from a deep link

Twenty minutes, your numbers, no slide deck. We’ll build one of your real buildings in front of you and send you the estimate link at the end — yours to keep either way.
