A structured bill_to record preferred over the older estimate snapshot. It renders legal name, mailing address, email, phone, plus a co-signer line and a lender line with loan number when present.
Also called: invoice address · who the invoice is made out to · lender on the invoice · co-signer
- 1bill_to is preferred, with the estimate snapshot as the fallback for older invoices
- 2City, state and ZIP are joined in US postal form rather than comma-separated
- 3Co-signer and lender lines render only when those fields exist
- 4A completely empty Bill To renders a dash rather than blank space
Bill-to details were retyped from whatever the builder had to hand, so invoices went out to a name that did not match the contract and came back from the customer's accountant. The block is pulled from the legal details the customer already submitted and signed, which carry every field a bill legally needs. The address is formatted the way an address is actually written — joining city, state and postcode with commas produced a line no customer has ever seen on a bill, and it is exactly the sort of detail they notice.
- Invoices addressed from stale CRM data
- Lender and co-signer details missing from billing documents
