Is My CRM Actually Connected?

A small link icon on the New Lead column header shows green when leads are actually syncing and broken-red when they are not.

What it is

A health indicator on exactly one stage — New Lead, the one stage leads sync into. Green means the CRM is connected and the new-lead stage is mapped. Broken-red means the link is broken and leads are not syncing. It re-checks whenever integration settings save, so fixing the connection turns it green without a reload.

3 named problems
01Green requires both a connected CRM configuration and a mapped new-lead stage — the exact condition the lead engine needs
02It only appears on the sales board, on the New Lead column
03It hides entirely while the check is still running rather than guessing
The New Lead column header with the green chain-link icon, and the same header with the broken-link red icon on a failed connection. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1Green requires both a connected CRM configuration and a mapped new-lead stage — the exact condition the lead engine needs
  2. 2It only appears on the sales board, on the New Lead column
  3. 3It hides entirely while the check is still running rather than guessing
  4. 4It re-checks on the settings-saved event
Why we built it

A broken CRM connection looks exactly like a quiet week — no leads arrive either way — and builders were finding out days later that nothing had been syncing. A small link icon on the New Lead column now shows green when leads can actually flow and red when they cannot. It tests the real requirement rather than a general connected flag: the account linked, the pipeline chosen, and the new-lead stage mapped, which are the exact conditions the sync needs.

The problem
  • A silent integration failure looking like a quiet week
  • Connection status that does not reflect what the sync actually needs
  • Having to open settings to check

What you get
A broken lead feed is visible on the board itself
The check matches what the engine actually requires
Fixing settings turns it green immediately
