What it is
A paired-bar chart across stage types. Canonical types are listed first in a stable order so the chart looks familiar week to week, then any custom or building-type-preset stage with completed logs is appended rather than being dropped. Labels are shortened for the axis.

How it works
- 1Completed stage logs are grouped by task type.
- 2Planned averages the planned days; actual averages the actual days, falling back to planned where an actual is missing.
- 3Canonical types come first, then observed types not in that list.
- 4Each bar takes the stage type's own colour.
Why we built it
The observed-types union is commented as a fix: canonical types first for 'stable order / familiar bars', then any custom stage with completed logs 'so custom stages show up here instead of being silently omitted.'
The problem
- Custom stages were invisible in duration reporting.
- Estimates were never compared to outcomes on the main screen.
