Footer toggles for Email and Text, defaulting to every channel with an address on file and struck through when there's none. The send is awaited, not fire-and-forget, so it can return { notified, skipped } with a reason per skipped channel. If nothing was notified the modal shows a red banner telling the builder to share the link directly.
Also called: text the contract · sms contract link · email contract · customer never got the contract
- 1Contact details resolve from the estimate link first, then the intake form — 'the form is the customer's OWN latest statement of how to reach them'.
- 2Email renders the tenant-branded 'contract.toSign' message; SMS sends a short message with the same link.
- 3Both route through the org's provider chain, so on GHL tenants they land in the contact's conversation thread.
- 4Zero notified → 'Contract released — but the customer was NOT notified (no reachable email or phone). Copy their link and share it with them directly.'
Two comments, one bug and one policy. The bug: 'The old path returned silently when the contact had no email — the contract went "sent" while the customer heard nothing on any channel (Brooklyn Thomas, L2B).' The policy: 'Channel governance (Chris, by phone): email, text, or both — the builder decides at send time… a phone-only customer must never again be marked "sent" while hearing nothing.'
- Contracts marked sent with no delivery to any channel
- Email-only delivery for customers who only text
- No feedback on which channel succeeded or why one didn't

Twenty minutes, your numbers, no slide deck. We’ll build one of your real buildings in front of you and send you the estimate link at the end — yours to keep either way.
