Client Portal settings — one sub-tab per customer stage

The customer's whole funnel configured as four sub-tabs — Estimate, Form, Contract, Dashboard — each the control surface for what the customer sees at that stage.

What it is

A shell inside the Portals category that organises portal configuration by the customer's journey rather than by internal module. The Estimate stage carries the ordered-section manager; Form and Contract moved here from the old Contracts & Intake tab.

The Client Portal tab with its four sub-tabs and the ordered section cards under Estimate. ClientPortalShell.tsx. The real screen, drawn from the product’s own design system. Sample data — no customer information appears here.
How it works
  1. 1Four sub-tabs render the portal section manager and the intake settings, the latter mounted twice with different scopes.
  2. 2The legacy intake deep link opens the Form sub-tab.
  3. 3Builder info was moved out to My Business, with a pointer left behind.
Why we built it

Recorded as with the category deliberately named Portals in the plural: the Client Portal tab holds the whole customer funnel as sub-tabs, and crew and contractor portals join that row later. Organising by customer stage means an owner configures in the order their customer experiences.

The problem
  • Customer-facing configuration was split across unrelated tabs.
  • Moving settings between tabs left dead links and confused users.

What you get
Configuration follows the customer's journey.
Old intake links still land in the right place.
