Six statuses with a deliberate colour language: grey means nothing has happened yet or it was dropped; blue means it is with them; amber means they have engaged but the outcome is not settled; green means settled in your favour; red means refused. Moving to sent or resolved stamps its timestamp.
Also called: claim status · unsettled claims · supplier rejected the claim
- 1CLAIM_STATUSES carries the six ids with labels and colours
- 2The status select on each claim card writes sent_at or resolved_at as appropriate
- 3Any change reloads both the workspace and the list beside it
- 4Open, sent and acknowledged all count as unsettled for the reliability figures
In the code: 'Colour tracks how the dispute is GOING, so a glance down a list of claims says which ones are fine and which need chasing: grey nothing has happened yet, or it's been dropped; blue it's with them — sent, and acknowledged is still "with them"; amber they've engaged but the outcome isn't settled — watch this one; green settled in our favour; red refused.'
- Sent claims quietly go unanswered
- No way to see which disputes need chasing
